Diesel fuel price development: prices at a six-month high.

Diesel fuel prices at gas stations and for bulk consumers increased by around 8% compared to the previous month of July, reaching the level last seen in February of this year.

According to the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) and the Federal Cartel Office, the prices per liter of diesel fuel were €1.37 for bulk consumers (€1.26 in the previous month) and €1.77 for end consumers at public gas stations.

However, the prices for bulk consumers remain significantly below the level of the previous year (€1.56 per liter).
